MAGIC’S SONG OF THE WEEK

Me and the internet have been spending a little bit of time apart recently; which probably explains why I’ve only just heard about the passing of the very singular Dory Previn

This wonderfully skewed song helped me through some very bad times.

Rest in peace, Dory, indeed.

Coseph Jonrad – paper round tapes volume ten

Posted in Coseph Jonrad with tags , on February 13, 2012 by magicanddreams

Dear friends,

today is the day that Coseph turns ten…..

As you can see it’s got a heart on it and everything, making it the perfect gift for your loved ones:

FEEL THE POWER OF MY MARKETING

This month’s installment is remixes of an album, that with the benefit of 22 years of hindsight, I can admit I possibly bought for the wrong reasons.

The lead singer notoriously claimed that one day she would win an oscar, and there’s still time folks…

Here is the oh-so-dronemantic ‘the only one’, for you to stream / download / love and cherish:

As so often happens with Coseph albums – the unpredictable alchemy occurs – and hey! this one has come out strangely beautiful, droned and dreamed, a little like Spacemen 3 stretched out and lazy, hazy, well…..you can make up yr own minds (and hearts)…

Here’s ‘falling for a goldmine’:

The album is available on cdr for £5 with FREE postage in the UK or europe, please email us:

BC at BI (sub bass from the subs bench)

Just wanted to say thanks and love to all the dancing crew at the Bishopsgate Institute the other week – I was drafted in at almost literally the last minute to replace King Midas Sound – had to scramble to make it in time to plug in and play…

…luckily there were plenty of punters happy to move their feet even though I wasn’t what they had been promised. I gave it all I had anyway, and it was a fun show. Big thanks to thee mighty Jonny Mugwump and all at the Bishopsgate Institute!

Ace to see Raime and LJK too, inspirational both.
